A fictional story song about the child Jesus, symbolic of the passion of Christ. In the story, Jesus grows a garden of beautiful roses, which are destroyed by some cruel children from the village. Since only the thorns are left, He weaves them into a crown instead. This anthem is appropriate for use during the season of Lent or in Holy Week.
