“People of Hope” is a commemorative song for 9/11, written from a Christian perspective.  The lyrics show a parallel between the heroic efforts of the 9/11 rescue workers and those of Christ as our rescuer from sin.  Reflecting upon 1 Thessalonians 4:13, we realize that when we grieve for those who perished at the hands of terrorists on September 11, 2001 we rest in the hope of the resurrection.  The song "People of Hope" was composed by Dr. Norm Wick just days after the September 11 attack and the video was produced in observance of the 10th anniversary.  The vocalist on the recording is Jay Samples.
